Because it really does take a village! Let's meet others in our community!

When my husband and I moved to town seven years ago, we didn't know anyone. We slowly got to know our neighbors, had our daughter and then the pandemic hit just as we discovered baby #2 was on the way. Our lives were FULL and we didn't have a village. The pandemic felt like it robbed me of baby bonding and meetups with other new moms, and I realized that I needed to work to grow my village. We don't have family nearby, most of our friends were spread out around the Boston area and at the time my job was taking me all over Greater Boston.
So, I started the process of researching, and asking neighbors and reading the online community boards - but who has time for that? I needed sitters, postpartum help, an estate attorney, a strength coach, you get the idea. I was also raising two kids (now under the age of 3.5) while working full-time. I needed help, local resources, and recommendations from within the community for all of these things. So,with that in mind I reached out to Erin (a wonderful local family lawyer, small business owner, and a mom ) and we came up with the idea to help other women in town: Meet. Network. Engage. Learn. Build a Village.
I am also the creator of UrbanSuburbanKids.com and a full-time Realtor at William Raveis (www.SamanthaBoston.com)

When my youngest child was born with a serious medical condition, I realized that estate planning was an area of law where I can counsel families on how to best protect themselves when the future is unsure. This requires a blend of compassion and highly technical legal skill that I work hard to bring to every client.
I’m a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. I am licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Florida.
In my downtime I love mindfulness meditation, exploring the North Shore and New England with my family, and cheering on the United States Coast Guard Academy sports teams. (Go Bears!)
As your Personal Family Lawyer, I’d love to start protecting the people you love and everything else you care about today. I look forward to meeting you!

As a local Melrose mom, and a working mom of three littles, my life is crazy demanding and the mindset that strength training has given me has kept me functional (and sane).
Our culture at HINGE is built on community, connection and functional fitness. We find that these key elements will create an sustainable environment that will keep you coming back for more. Fitness should be something you look forward to, makes you feel better and want to live better. Strength is a mindset. Let’s see what you are capable of!
A short and informal presentation on any number of topics which could include: estate planning, women's health and nutrition, financial literacy, starting a business, family tax strategies, mindfulness, accounting or strength training and your pelvic floor.
Depending on the topics and the speaker, we'll follow up with a question and answer portion and share materials that are relevant to the speaker.
Light refreshments will be provided (depending on the meet up/location) and then we'll spend the rest of the time just getting to know some of our neighbors in the community! While our group may be targeted towards women, we will certainly welcome all from within the community who want to learn from the topic of the month. Our goal is to help you learn about the resources right here within our local area and meet others in our community.
